This Privacy Policy describes how AI Tech Unpacked (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with this website. We aim to be transparent and proportionate: this is an educational blog, not a data brokerage.

Information we collect

Browsing

Like most websites, our hosting environment may automatically record technical data such as approximate region (derived from IP), browser type, referring page, and timestamps. We use this information only to maintain security, understand aggregate traffic patterns, and improve readability and performance.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, you choose to send us your name, email address, and message content. In the current static demonstration build, submissions may be handled entirely in the browser for validation feedback and are not transmitted to a server unless you connect one. When you deploy this site with a backend, you should describe that provider’s practices here.

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use invasive cross-site tracking for advertising. Third-party content delivery networks (for example, font or script hosts) may set technical cookies or logs according to their own policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

How we use information

  • To operate and secure the website.
  • To respond to legitimate inquiries sent through contact channels.
  • To improve articles and site structure based on aggregated, non-identifying analytics.

Retention

Server logs and analytics aggregates are retained only as long as needed for security and improvement, typically on a rolling basis. Messages are retained only as long as required to complete the conversation or meet legal obligations.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. Because this site does not publish a dedicated postal or telephone contact line, requests may be initiated through perterhustom@gmail.com, the contact form, or another channel we explicitly provide in writing.

Children

The site is aimed at a general adult and teenage audience interested in technology. It is not directed at young children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under the age where parental consent is required in your jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the site or legal expectations. Material changes will be noted by updating the date above.
